How is EHFR Funded?EHFR conducts fundraisers, charges reasonable fees for services calls to non-subscribers to cover direct operating costs. We apply for and receive grants and ask for donations. The men and women serving you depend on the generosity of the residents of our community for operating funds and general financial support.
How can I be protected?
EHFR gives folks who live within our service area an opportunity to subscribe for emergency services and fire protection each year. We have not asked the communities for subscriptions in over two years. If you subscribe today, you, your family and your home are provided with fire protection and emergency services for one year. You will not receive a bill for any services we provide you for twelve months! Your coverage starts the day your donation is received. This is something to think about?
Why Subscribe?
As a subscriber, you help assure our ability to operate on a sound financial basis. Subscriptions help provide EHFR with medical, fire fighting and rescue equipment. This provides funding for our operating budget which will assure you and your family the best service possible. Subscribers are not billed for any portion of services they receive on their property for 1 year. Most homeowner policies do not cover emergency services or offer very limited coverage - often less than $500.00,
What do I get as a subscriber?
EHFR's dedicated men and women feel an obligation to provide the very best fire protection and emergency services possible. We hope that you feel, as we do, that EHFR is a valuable asset to the safety of your community and your family's well being. Everyone in your household will receive fire protection, emergency and limited non-emergency services. Renters SHOULD SUBSCRIBE AS WELL as you are not covered by the owners subscription.
Did you know that when Rural Metro Fire or Green Valley Fire units do respond to our community, you may be charged as much as $1,000.00 per unit plus manpower! Rural Metro Fire or Green Valley Fire subscriptions are available at four times or more than the rate for EHFR.
